Description:
In cell 37 of the dormitory. Christ is shown centrally, on the cross with the two thieves flanking him. Below are mourning figures, probably Mary and John the Evangelist. At center is Saint Dominic with arms outstretched, with Saint Thomas Aquinas kneeling at right. The large size of cell 37 suggests it may have served as the Chapter Room for the lay brothers as they met each day under the guidance of their own prior.
